Ana Margarida Arruda

Ana Margarida Arruda is a Professor at the Faculty of Letters of Lisbon in the undergraduate degree in archaeology, and masters degrees in Archaeology and Maritime History. In the year 2004, the Gulbenkian Archaeology Prize was awarded for her book "Los fenicios en Portugal", published in Barcelona, and in 2018 and 2020 she won the Scientific Prize (honourable mention) University of Lisbon, in the area of History and Philosophy. He has 250 published titles, including books, articles in national and international journals, book chapters (Portugal, France, Belgium, Spain, England, Italy, United States, Tunisia), and contributions in Conference Proceedings.

He has given more than thirty lectures at the invitation of various bodies in Portugal and abroad. She has supervised eight doctoral thesis, with five others in progress, and 35 master's degree thesis, and has participated in several academic examinations as examiner and/or jury member in Portuguese, Spanish and French Universities. She was Principal Investigator in two competitive projects funded by FCT. She is researcher in three international projects and scientific advisor in three others. She belongs to the editorial boards of several national and international journals. She has been several times an evaluator for projects and research grants promoted by the Spanish Government, specifically Ramón y Cajal and ANEP, and by the Autonomous Region of Catalonia (AGAUR).
